Riverside Community House is located in the suburb of Lovely Banks in Geelong, it sits on a large block in a quiet residential street close to public transport, shops and cafes.
The home is specially designed for individual care and support for people with a range of disabilities, particularly acquired brain injuries, neurodegenerative disorders and complex cases. Clients can choose from short, medium and long-term accommodation.
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is funded through the NDIS. SIL includes:
- High intensity and standard supports
- Assistance with daily personal activities showering, dressing, medication
- Assistance with household tasks - cleaning, cooking, laundry
- Social and community activities shopping, medical appointments
